Mr. Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui was born on 1st July, 1959, in Rawalpindi (Punjab). Most of the family members of Mr. Siddiqui are involved in parting education in different Institutions. His father Qazi Aziz-ur-Rehman Siddiqui (Late) was known as a social and political worker, who enjoyed the office of elected Chairman of Local Bodies. Mr. Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui passed his Secondary School examination from C.B. Technical High School, Tariq Abad Rawalpindi and graduated from Gordon College, Rawalpindi. By spending about four years at the most prestigious institution i.e. University of the Punjab, Lahore, Mr. Siddiqui did his MBA & LLB from there. Mr. Siddiqui was enrolled as Advocate District Courts on 21.08.1988, Advocate of High Court on 10.10.1990 and Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan on 26.04.2001. During professional life Mr. Siddiqui was elected as Secretary, District Bar Association, Rawalpindi, for the session 1995-96 and won the election of the office of President High Court Bar Association, Rawalpindi in the year 2011. He was nominated Chairman, Anti-Corruption Committee of Punjab Bar Council, Rawalpindi district for the year 2007-2008. Mr. Siddiqui also remained lecturer for about 03 years at Rawalpindi Law College, Rawalpindi. Articles on different topics and subjects written by Mr. Siddiqui had been published in leading news papers like the Dawn, the News, the Jang etc.
2. At the time of elevation, Mr. Siddiqui was considered as one of the busiest lawyers in the twin cities of Rawalpindi/Islamabad, having more than a decade of regular practice before the Apex Court. He conducted very high profile cases in almost all the fields of law. Mr. Siddiqui at his credit has numerous reported judgements, which show the variety of cases he conducted. Mr. Siddiqui was considered as one of the best orator of High Court Bar Association and District Bar Association, Rawalpindi. Mr. Siddiqui as lawyer was known for his uprightness, straight forwardness, hard work, intelligence and as formidable opponent. Mr. Siddiqui is strong communicator, blessed with gifted qualities to express his thought and feelings through spoken and words in writings. Mr. Siddiqui was elevated as Additional Judge of this Court on 21.11.2011 to represent the Province of Punjab.
